THE SOLAR COVER: An absolute necessity to act against global warming.
Preservation of public health, natural electricity production.
Significant contribution to the charge of motor vehicle batteries.

Roughly 100 million motor vehicles are produced each year.
The global car fleet is estimated at 2 billion units.
Doubling the park within 20 years.

Within one click from the remote control a cover will unfold within seconds, equipped with an organic photovoltaic wrap ASCA ®, allowing the batteries from the parked vehicle to recharge.


Its deployment is carried out thanks to micro-rails integrated into the vehicle. This can be industrially integrated to all the vehicles at the construction phase.


The organic photovoltaic wrap (ASCA ®), produced by the French society ARMOR, does not contain rare metals or toxic products, contrary to other photovoltaic panel technologies (See the wrap characteristics featured on the documentation delivered by the ARMOR society).


The production which will equip the solar cover can be carried out entirely on French territory.


Based on the design of new organic polymers and new assembly and production processes, the yield of ASCA ® photovoltaic wraps increases from year to year.


On the Gazelle, the current average load makes it possible to cover in France around 6,000 km within a year and to double the amount by 2022.

ELECTRICITY PRODUCT
THE SOLAR COVER

If we reduce the consumption of electric cars of the future to the consumption of the Gazelle (7.5 kwh / 100 kms) the photovoltaic wrap of the cover will allow solar autonomy for an average journey of 30 kms daily in France.


Travelled distance by car per year thanks to the solar cover : about 6,000 km currently and 12,000 km by 2022.

Further studies will need to be carried out following real exposures of the cover.

FIGHT AGAINST WATER WASTE
STAIN-RESISTANT PROTECTIVE COVER

Bird droppings, especially pigeons, are a nightmare for city drivers.


The cover is treated in a way that it is stain-resistant (stains do not hold).  The Nanosphere-like tissue has a microstructure that prevents absorption of water and fat. Instead of spreading out, liquids form droplets which roll away with dirt.


200 million m3 of drinking water are needed per year in France for around 10 washes per year.


Reduced to the global park of around 2 billion units, the water needed would be around 12 billion m3 of drinking water per year and, of 24 billion m3 of water with a park that will double within twenty years.


Dividing the number of washings by two would save 12 billion m3 of water for four billion vehicles per year.


The cost of this cover will be minor and will not affect the sale price of the cars.
